(KMOV)—Police are investigating after a stolen van rammed into an ATM at a St. Louis bank early Monday morning.
According to reports, the van smashed into the ATM at the Southern Commercial Bank on the 7200 block of South Broadway at 3:30 a.m.
The van pushed the ATM into the side of the building causing significant damage to the bank.
Police originally believed it was an accident since there was no sign the ATM was broken into or tampered with.
Authorities have learned that the van used in the crash, was allegedly stolen from a day care center.
Officers are now searching for the suspects involved.
