ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a female postal worker in north St. Louis on Wednesday.

Police said the worker was sitting in a postal truck in the 1500 block of Bremen Avenue around 10:30 a.m. when a man approached.

Authorities said the suspect opened up the truck, grabbed a small amount of mail and fled on foot heading northbound towards Blair Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

Police said U.S. Postal Inspectors were investigating the case. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Postal Inspector Tom Kerns at 314-539-9429.
