ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Police say officers opened fire after a man allegedly fled from a traffic stop and pointed a gun at officers Friday night.

According to police, officers pulled a vehicle over on the 3400 block of South Compton, near Cherokee St. Police say the driver, a black male in his mid 20's, got out of the passenger side door and ran.
