(KMOV) – Charges have been filed against a suspect accused of fatally stabbing a man during a drug deal in south St. Louis on May 19.
Ben Jones, 35, was charged Saturday with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
According to police, 31-year-old Senadin Fazlic and an acquaintance drove to the 4400 block of Wallace to purchase narcotics from Jones.
Police say Jones and Fazlic began arguing over the drug’s price. That’s when police say Jones stabbed Fazlic in the chest.
Fazlic was dropped off at a firehouse in the 5000 block S. Kingshighway. He was then transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Jones remains in custody without bond.
