NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Officers have charged a suspect believed to be responsible for the murder of a man found dead in north St. Louis on Friday.
Tierrance Davis, 17, was charged Saturday with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.
According to police, officers responded to a call for a “person down” around 6:20 p.m. in the 4300 block of East Fairfax Court. When they arrived they found Deondre Elem, 29, dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Elem was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say they arrested Davis around 8 p.m. Friday and recovered Elem’s 2002 Monte Carlo.
