(KMOV.com) -- Authorities said they have arrested a suspect in connection to two armed robberies that happen in Shiloh, Ill., Friday.
Shiloh Police said they arrested 20-year-old Davichion Washington for allegedly committing armed robberies at The Midwest Petroleum Station and State Cleaners Friday morning.
Officers were told a black male entered The Midwest Petroleum Station, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and gave an undetermined amont of money from the cash register to the suspect. The suspect then left the store on foot. No one was hurt.
Police said the same suspect was involved in a similar robbery that occurred just after 8 a.m. at the State Cleaners located at 2417 Lebanon Avenue.
The suspect is identified as a black male, in his teens or early 20s, 5’8 to 5’10, thin build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with “Louisville” in red lettering, blue jeans and what appeared to be blue Converse shoes.
Shiloh Police reported Washington was charged with two armed robbery, class X felonies.
Washington is being held on a $750,000 bond.
