KMOV---A St. Peters man has been found not guilty of his role in a deadly suicide pact.

Jacob Runge had been charged with voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action.

A St. Louis county jury delivered the not guilty verdict after 3 hours of deliberation Thursday.

Runge and Alex Harkins of Florissant allegedly made a suicide pact the pair planned to carry out in May 2009.

Harkins fatally shot himself, but Runge did not go through with the plan and left Harkins body in a wooded area.
