O’FALLON, Mo (KMOV.com) – The state of Missouri has shut down a daycare following allegations that a two-year-old was left outside for several hours in sub-freezing temperatures.
The Bright Start Academy in O’Fallon has been shut down after a state investigation determined the child may have been outside for as long as four hours.
The child’s father reportedly found the two-year-old huddled up outside trying to stay warm. The state said the company is unable to provide a safe environment for children.
