A St. Peters man could not have asked for a better present when he turned 30 earlier this month.
David Caito Jr. used Quick Pick to match all six Missouri Lotto numbers drawn on Feb. 16, winning the $2.2 million prize just three days after his birthday.
Caito, a business development manager, says he plans to use the winnings to pay off debts and invest in business opportunities.
“I’ve already got a couple of things that I was interested in doing with a good friend,” Caito explained.
Caito joked that he’s “still kind of in shock” about everything falling into place.
“This is all I need to be able to achieve what I want to do,” he said.
“Before this all happened, I’d been praying to God,” he added, noting that he feels as if his prayers were answered.
Caito bought the winning ticket at Aro-Mart, located at 3755 Harvester Rd. in St. Peters.
The store received a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
