ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The chief prosecutor in St. Louis says her top goal for 2013 is curbing gun violence.
Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce told KMOX Radio that trying gun violence crimes in a separate court could help speed up prosecutions. She also hopes to see better cooperation from victims and witnesses, calling the lack of cooperation the No. 1 reason gun criminals too often get away with it.
Joyce also hopes to keep encouraging efforts such as neighborhood watch program.
