ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- The Gateway City is the happiest city for job-seeking college grads, according to a list compiled by online career site CareerBliss.com.

The list was based on analysis from reviews submitted by people with jobs that require less than two years of work experience. Those employees were asked to answer questions based on 10 factors that affect workplace harmony. The factors included the employee's relationship with their boss and coworkers, job resources, salary, work environment, growth opportunities, daily tasks, control over the work done on a daily basis, company culture and company repuration. The answers were given on a five-point scale.

CareerBliss also looked at the average cost-of-living-adjusted salary, which indicates how far a dollar can go in the respective cities.

St. Louis topped the list with a score of 4.12 out of 5, with an average cost-of-living-adjusted salary of $50,900. The career website said recent graduates in St. Louis with less than two years of work experience were most content with their work environment, co-workers and superiors.
