(KMOV) – A Glendale hairdresser did a lot more than take a little off the top. Police say she took close to $6,000 from her client.
“It was really a cut and dry case,” said Glendale Police Capt. Bob Cattlett.
Police say a 38-year-old woman was running a hairdressing business in a home off Edwin Ave in Glendale.
A frequent client gave the suspect her credit card and then police say she took much more.
“Subsequent to that there were two fraudulent charges she did not authorize in excess of $5, 000,” Capt. Catlett said.
No one answered the door when a News 4 crew tried to question her about her charge of identity theft.
Police are still preparing warrants for her arrest.
Neighbors are shocked, but Capt. Bob Catlett said you must always beware, even against your own hairdresser.
If convicted, the suspect could get between 5 and 15 years in prison.
