St. Louis community collecting donations for Sandy victims

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A former east coast resident who now lives in the Lindbergh School District is helping to collect donations for victims who were hit by Hurricane Sandy.

Mike Royster is formerly from Rhode Island and he is arranging for several trucks to take donations to those in need. 

The fundraiser will run for the next two weeks and the trucks will leave when they are filled.

You can bring donations to the parking lot next to Sperreng Middle School on Tesson Ferry Road between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

You can also send cash donations to: Save the Shore, First National Bank of St. Louis, 7707 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105, ATTN: Terri Taylor.
