Overland teen charged in double shooting

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) -- A 17-year-old St. Louis County man is accused of first-degree murder and multiple other charges for a shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured.

St. Louis County authorities announced the charges Wednesday against Brandon Davis of Overland.

The shooting happened Monday. Police say Davis went into a home, shot and killed 31-year-old Duane Woodson, and shot a woman as she tried to run away. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Davis was arrested at his home on Tuesday.
