(KMOV) – The St. Louis area has a chance of being hit with showers and thunderstorms on Friday, according to News 4 Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt.
Temperatures Friday morning started off near 70 and were expected to reach the high 80s be the afternoon. Showers and storms were expected to develop in the southern part of the viewing area Friday morning.
Friday afternoon will see partly cloudy and humid conditions along with a 40 percent chance for showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon to early evening.
Temperatures will drop into the 70s Friday night as the muggy conditions continue.
Looking ahead, rain could make another appearance on Saturday, which will have about a 20 percent for afternoon showers and storms.
There will be about a 30 percent chance for rain and thunderstorms on Sunday.
