(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis County officials have postponed voting on a new road bill that was up for its final vote Tuesday.

“Complete streets” was proposed by St. Louis County to make it easier for people to travel on foot or bicycle throughout the area.

The controversy with the proposed plan is the cost that will accompany it.

It is estimated to cost hundreds of millions of dollars, but no one has given an exact cost for the project.
