(KMOV) – A St. Louis County police officer suspected of drunken driving was arrested on Thursday.
Steven Park, 31, is a 9-year veteran of the St. Louis County Police Department, serving in the Affton district. He was pulled over on Wednesday by a fellow St. Louis County officer, and could ultimately face a felony charge.
Park was arrested for DUI and unlawful use of a weapon.
The weapon charge stems from having his service weapon with him while intoxicated. It is illegal to carry a weapon while intoxicated.
Sources report that Park has resigned from the county police force.
