ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A student at St. Charles High School has been issued a summons after he allegedly bullied and harassed a fellow student.
According to reports, the 17-year-old student was ticketed for posting an inappropriate photo of another student on Facebook. The offense fell under the city’s cyber harassment ordinance.
The suspect is now facing punishment of 10 days and possibly 180 days suspension. Schools have their hands tied a bit when the offense happens outside of school, officials said. Since the offense violated a city ordinance, the suspect will have to appear in court.
