St. Charles man sentenced for sending threats

(KMOV) -- Alexander Long, 23, of St. Charles has been sentenced to 41 months in prison on federal charges involving a threat he made to a St. Charles County judge, his daughter, two members of the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and an employee of the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department.

Long pleded guilty in October to one felony count of interstate transmission containing a threat and two felony counts of mailing threatening communications.


This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department.
