Sink hole in Metro-East prompts road closure

(KMOV) -- A two lane road near Alorton, Illinois will be closed until further notice after a sink hole was discovered Thursday afternoon.

 Both lanes on Mousette Lane from Bond Avenue through McCasland Avenue in St. Clair County are affected.
 
No word on how this happened or when it’s expected to re-open.
