Victim identified in shooting in north St. Louis

St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV) – The victim has been identified in a shooting in north St. Louis Wednesday night.

Police say 38-year-old Lamandras Sandford sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, torso, and arms. 

According to police, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Sullivan. Officers discovered Sandford semi-conscious and lying on the sidewalk. 

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The investigation is ongoing.
