Services held for 3 teens killed in Wildwood wreck

(KMOV) – Services were held Monday for three teens who were killed after the convertible they were in slammed into a deck and a tree in the St. Louis County town of Wildwood late Thursday night.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Homestead Manor Dr. and Rieger Rd. just before 10 p.m.

Cristopher Lenzen, 18, Kathleen Oliver, 17 and her sister, Lauren Oliver, 19, died in the wreck.

A visitation was held for Lenzen from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin. His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday.

The Oliver sisters’ visitation happened at Windsor Community Church in Chesterfield at 10 a.m. Their funeral followed at 1 p.m.

Officials said Lenzen, the Olivers and another teen were in a convertible with the top down going at a high rate of speed when it left the road and struck the deck of a nearby home.

Authorities said the car went through the deck, which had concrete pillars on it, and went down a wooded hill about 120 yards before hitting a tree.

Authorities say the Lenzen, the driver, and a female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman died in a helicopter en route to a hospital. The women were later identified as the two sisters.

The third woman, 18-year-old Olivia Dames, suffered minor injuries.

According to officials, Lenzen graduated from Marquette High School earlier this year. Lauren Oliver graduated from Eureka High School in May. Kathleen was a still a student there.

Dames is also a Eureka High graduate.

Two people were sitting on the deck patio when the wreck happened but they were not hurt.
