ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Traffic was at a slowdown after a tractor trailer overturned on Highway 170 in north St. Louis County on Wednesday.
Police said the semi truck was carrying scrap metal when it lost control and overturned on the exit ramp connecting northbound 170 to eastbound I-70 around 11:45 a.m.
Missouri Highway Patrol said the ramp was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene. Authorities said a tow truck was being sent to get the semi.
The driver inside the truck was injured, but the extent of his injuries was unknown.
