ST. LOUIS -- A search is under way for three sculptures missing from a display in downtown St. Louis.
The sculptures by Ernest Trova were in front of the GenAmerica building, on loan from St. Louis County. The building is now vacant.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported in July that the new owners of the building believe they own the sculptures. Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis County says it owns them, but doesn’t have the loan agreement to prove it.
St. Louis County Parks officials are trying to determine where the sculptures are.
