(KMOV.com) -- Schnucks market officials have again issued an apology for the recent breach of customers' credit card information.
Scott Schnuck, chairman and CEO, said the company was able to correct the problem and secure its credit card systems on March 30. He said shoppers should feel safe, but said cards used before March 30 could still be subject to fraud.
"I promise that Schnucks will be relentless in working to maintain a secure payment-processing system," said Schnuck.
In April, Schnucks announced that 2.4 million credit and debit cards may have been compromised at their stores over a four-month period beginning late last year.
