Robbery suspect in critical condition after Fox Park incident

(KMOV.com) – Police are investigating a robbery and shooting that occurred in the Fox Park neighborhood. The incident left one suspect in the hospital and the other on the loose.

According to reports, a 28-year-old mother was at home in the 2800 block of Victor with her 2-year-old son when she heard knocking on her front door. The woman refused to answer the door.

Two black male suspects, both in their 20s, forced their way into the home. The suspects announced a robbery. One of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while the other searched the residence.

As the suspects were exiting the home, an unknown person began firing shots into the home. Both the suspects and victims ran out the back door of the home.

One of the suspects, a 27-year-old man, was shot in the face and leg. He was transported to a hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition. The other suspect ran from the scene.

The second suspect is described as being a skinny, black male between 25 and 30-years-old, wearing jeans and a teal hoodie with white writing.

Police have not released a description of the shooter or the conditions of the victims. It is not known if anything was taken in the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
