ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Phase two of hot spot policing is underway in the College Hill neighborhood in north St. Louis.
“We have our building division out there taking care of vacant homes,” said Mayor Francis Slay. “Our forestry division is trimming trees and clearing brush away from lanterns to make things brighter. We have St. Louis Employment out there offering employment opportunities and training and other things.”
But what do the people actually affected by the clean-up think about the plan? We wanted to see up close and hear from residents of the neighborhood. News 4 went door-to-door and asked- will this initiative work?
