(KMOV) – A company based in Massachusetts is investing in north St. Louis County with plans to set up shop in Bridgeton and hire up to 50 employees.

Materials Lifecycle Management Company plans to recycle paper and packaging, that’s typically non recyclable and make fuel cubes.

The cubes can be sold to other companies that use coal to run their plants.

"When you look at a feed stock pile in one of our manufacturing operations, it's clean, it's dry it's odorless. It’s nothing more than clean paper and polymer type of materials that can be used to make the fuel,” said Jim Ladue of Materials Lifecycle Management Company.

The company is renovating a facility in Bridgeton and plans to be online by spring starting with 25 employees then add more later.
