ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – St. Louis Rams defensive end Robert Quinn’s DWI case has been continued until after the 2012 NFL season.

According to officials, Quinn was involved in a single-vehicle wreck on eastbound I-270 near Washington around 5:40 a.m. on July 10. Police responding to the scene suspected Quinn was intoxicated and took him into custody.

He was charged with DWI along with two additional traffic-related charges.

Quinn was released after posting a cash bond.

On Thursday, a judge continued the case. He will again appear in Florissant Municipal Court on February 14, 2013.

Quinn, a graduate of North Carolina, was drafted by the Rams the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
