ST. LOUIS (AP) -- One of the most popular and certainly one of the biggest attractions at the St. Louis Zoo is celebrating a milestone birthday next week.
Raja the elephant turns 20 on Dec. 27. The zoo is honoring the occasion with a giant birthday cake for the bull elephant. It will be filled with some of his favorite things—cereal, melons, bananas, even popcorn. Other elephants from the herd are expected to join in the party.
Raja became a star attraction following his birth at the zoo in 1992. The five-ton elephant has since fathered three children.
