(KMOV) – The St. Louis area got some much-needed rain Tuesday morning, and it appears it will stick around throughout the day, according to News 4 Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt.
Tuesday morning started off with temperatures in the 50s as scattered showers hit the St. Louis Metro area. Ehrhardt said an isolated thunderstorm or two were possible.
Another band of rain is expected to hit the area in the afternoon as temperatures reach a high of 72. A few afternoon thunderstorms are possible as well.
Ehrhardt said the rain should taper off by the evening, as temperatures drop into the mid-40s.
Looking ahead, Wednesday appears to be dry as temps hit a high of 63.
