(KMOV) – A man faces charges after he allegedly posed as a police officer so he could grab a woman’s behind in Brentwood late last year.
Zachary Hamby, 23, was charged Monday with impersonating a police officer.
Police said between Dec. 10 and Dec. 20, Hamby convinced a woman he was a St. Louis County police officer.
Authorities said the victim let Hamby get in her vehicle and allowed him to grab her buttocks because she believed he was an officer performing a search.
Hamby was arrested and taken into custody.
An initial court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 22.
