WRIGHT CITY, Mo (KMOV.com) – FMB Bank in Wright City Wednesday joined the list of banks hit by robberies this year.

Police say around 9:30 am a white male walked into the bank on Veterans Memorial Pkwy, passed the teller a note asking for money to be put in an envelope he brought with him and told the teller not to sound the alarm.

Once the suspect got his cash he walked out of the bank. Police say the man implied he had a gun but never displayed one.

He’s described as a white male in his late 50’s early 60’s. He was wearing sunglasses, a red cap with the letters ‘BC’ on them. He was wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jacket and blue jeans with tennis shoes.

Police aren’t sure what direction he fled after leaving the bank but they are working with the FBI to obtain surveillance photos.

No one was injured during the incident.
