(KMOV)-- Police are searching for two suspects after a robbery connected to a shooting in north St. Louis.

This happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of Turner.

Authorities said a 32-year-old man was talking with a friend outside when two suspects, armed with guns, approached them. The friend ran and the man dropped his personal belongings to the ground and the suspects retrieved them.

Authorities said as the suspects were running, they noticed a 23-year-old man who was driving down the street and had apparently witness the robbery. One of the suspects fired several shots at man's car. He was shot once in the forearm. EMS responded but he told them he would seek medical attention on his own and was not transported.

One suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years old,

approximately 5'7", medium build, dark complexion, dreadlocks, wearing a tan jacket and skull cap. The other suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, approximately 5'7", medium build, light complexion, low haircut, wearing a dark hooded jacket and blue jeans.

The investigation is ongoing.
