(KMOV)-- Police are searching for five suspects accused of robbing a Cahokia mini-mart on Camp Jackson road last Thursday.
Police say four men walked into the store and demanded money from the store clerk. It appeared the clerk followed their instructions but was multiple shot times.
The clerk is still in the hospital.
Police say the suspects drove away in a white mini-van with Missouri license plates.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 (Driver) - A black male subject, approximately 5’10”, thin build, with long braided hair pulled up on top, a full goatee, wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans
Suspect #2 – A black male subject, approximately 5’5”, thin build, wearing a light blue short sleeve polo shirt, dark color pants, and white and black Jordan shoes, with a white cloth over the mouth and a dark gray cloth or t-shirt covering the head, white and black gloves on both hands, sunglasses, and carrying a long unknown rifle with wooden color stock, sling, and large scope
Suspect #3 – A black male subject, approximately 5’8”, heavy set build, wearing an oversized black t-shirt, baggy tan shorts, black tennis shoes with white soles, a black with red color wig, a greenish / gray cap, sunglasses, and carrying a long shotgun with wooden stock
Suspect #4 - A black male subject, approximately 5’8”, thin build, wearing a dark blue / light blue / gray / white striped short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes, a white cloth over his face, dark colored St. Louis Cardinals baseball cap, a white and pastel multi-colored bandanna over head, sunglasses, a black glove on left hand, and carrying a black colored revolver
Suspect #5 – A black male subject, approximately 5’5”, thin build, wearing a dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, with a light red colored cloth over mouth, light blue colored cloth over head, sunglasses, a black glove on left hand, and carrying a black colored semi-automatic handgun
