(KMOV) -- Police are searching for a missing 24-year-old man who has been missing since November from Lake St. Louis.

John Ratcliffe, Jr. is described as a white man, 5'8", weighing 160 pounds. Police also say he has brown hair and blue eyes.

Officials say Ratcliff was last seen on November 9, 2010, driving a gold four-door 2004 Kia Optima with heavy damage to the rear passenger side. The vehicle has a license plate number of CE4Z4V.

Police say Ratcliff has been diagnosed as bipolar and schizophrenic. He has gone missing in the past.

In May 2010, he reportedly fled the state because he thought terrorists were posing as law enforcement officers when he learned that a warrant had been issued for his arrest related to a peace disturbance charge.

Anyone with information on Ratcliff should call Lake St. Louis Police at 636-625-8018.
