Police searching for burglars who stole $20,000 in tools and guns

(KMOV) – Police are searching for burglars who broke into a business in House Springs and stole more than $20,000 in tools and guns.

The thieves broke into “Henry Trucking and Excavating” located on Old Highway M by throwing a rock through the front glass door of the business.

The thieves stole several power and mechanical tools, a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum Revolver, and a Colt 1861 Navy black-powder pistol, according to the police report.

During the theft, the suspects cut power cables inside the building. Police say with the broken door, stolen items, and damage to the electrical system, the total in loss and damages is $25,000.

Captain Ron Arnhart of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says they have not recovered the stolen items, have no suspects or arrests as of Friday, June 13.
