(KMOV) – Police in East St. Louis are investigating after an auto parts store was robbed by armed suspects Monday night.
Investigators said two men wearing black bandannas and carrying guns walked into the Auto Zone store at 27th and State streets around 8:26 p.m. and demanded money.
The suspects took as much as $500 then fled from the scene in a cream-colored Buick Century.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the store to get a better look at the suspects or the license plate on the getaway car.
