ST. ANN, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police continue to search for two men and a suspect vehicle after several children reported an attempted abduction in St. Ann on Friday evening.

A group of five kids, ages 8 to 11, were playing in the parking lot of the Northwest Airport Inn apartments in the 3500 block of North Lindbergh around 5:30 p.m.

The children told police a minivan pulled into the parking lot, then a man opened a side door and threw out a box full of potato chip bags. He reportedly urged the kids to come get the chips. The children refused, and the man picked up the box and drove off.

One suspect is described as black male in his mid 40s, 5'10" to 6' tall, with an average build and bloodshot eyes. Police say he was last seen wearing a St. Louis Cardinals stocking cap.

Police have not released a description of the male suspect believed to be driving the vehicle.

The suspect vehicle is described as an all-white 2008 Town & Country minivan with tinted windows and a blue bumper sticker on the rear passenger side.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call St. Ann police at 314-428-6868.
