Police release surveillance photos of Wentzville robbery suspect

(KMOV.com) – The Wentzville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery at a gas station on Sunday.

Authorities said the robbery happened at the Amoco BP station in the 1400 block of South Service Road in Wentzville around 7:40 p.m.

Police said a man entered the store brandishing a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded that the cashier give him the money from the cash register. The cashier opened the register and handed the cash to the suspect.

The suspect left the scene on foot and was last seen running East.

He is described as a white male, 5-foot 10-inches to 6-foot 2-inches tall and weighs 185 to 200 pounds. During the robbery, he was wearing a black Pizza Hut ball cap, a black sweatshirt with a white solid stripe down both sleeves and and unknown logo on the left chest and blue jeans with black tennis shoes.
