(KMOV) – A missing woman last seen in Hermann, Mo. Saturday night has been found.
Two police officers were checking a secluded wooded area off of Reserve Street on the east side of town when they saw Ms. Lee off the gravel road lying near some trees. Her dog was by her side.
As officers approached her, the dog was somewhat protective, but allowed the officers to help. Police say Ms. Lee was very dehydrated, had numerous insect bites and was not able to speak to the officers.
After officers reportedly carried her from the woods, she was taken to Hermann Hospital by Hermann Ambulance where she has been admitted for treatment. Her condition is not considered life threatening.
Police say the area where Ms. Lee was found had been checked previously several times to no avail.
