(KMOV) -- Police are investigating what they call a suspicious death of a former employee from the city’s Circuit Attorney’s Office.
Officers found former Assistant Circuit Attorney Jessa Schauman, 33, dead Wednesday morning around 3:30 at 2212 Wyoming.
Police received a call for a suicide attempt and discovered Schaumann when they arrived at the residence.
Authorities questioned one person about the incident, but no arrests were made.
Schauman worked as Assistant Circuit Attorney from 2004-2010. She grew up in Webster Groves, and still has family in the area.
Schauman lived with her boyfriend in her home where she was killed.
The investigation is being handled by homicide.
