(KMOV) -- Two people were hospitalized after being struck during a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis late Tuesday night.
According to police, a 36-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man were driving in the 5700 block of Mimika when an someone in another vehicle pulled up beside them and started firing.
The victims continued driving to the Walgreens on Lucas and Hunt and W. Florissant, where they contacted authorities and were taken to the hospital.
Authorities say the 17-year-old was shot multiple times and was in critical condition. The 36-year-old was shot in the pelvis and was hospitalized in stable condition.
News 4 was on the scene and counted at least 10 bullet holes in a vehicle located at Lucas and Hunt and W. Florissant. An estimated 17 shell casings were found on Mimika.
No other information was immediately available.
