WASHINGTON PARK, Illinois – Investigators have determined the body of the missing woman found in Washington Park, Illinois on Monday was left there intentionally.
Investigators of the Major Case Squad believe believe Jessica Williams, 30, of Collinsvile, actually died at Kassing Drive in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Her body was then moved to Washington Park.
Authorities are awaiting autopsy results before determing a cause of death.
Williams' body was discovered by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department in the 1700 block of North 62nd Street around 11:00 a.m Monday.
A positive identification of the body revealed it to be Williams, who was reported missing on March 8.
