(KMOV) – Police hope surveillance pictures will help them arrest a suspect who robbed a Bridgeton gas station late Tuesday night.

Authorities say a man with a wooden cane walked into the Circle K in the 11200 block of Old St. Charles Rd. around 11 p.m. and demanded money.

Police say the suspect, who implied he had a weapon, fled the scene after being handed an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

Police say the suspect is a black man in his late 30s or early 40s. He’s about 5-foot-5 and weighs about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing an untucked short-sleeve shirt over a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Bridgeton Police Department at 314-739-7557. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call 314- 373-3876.
