(KMOV) – Police are searching for suspects responsible for a at least 17 car break-ins in midtown and downtown St. Louis.
Authorities say the break-ins happened between 11 p.m. Sunday night and 2 a.m. Monday morning.
Police said cars parked on Olive, 20th, Washington Avenue, 4th, MLK , Pine, Chestnut, and 17th, among others.
Investigators found some property believed to be from the crimes in the middle of a street.
Stolen items included two purses, car stereos, speakers, clothing, even two pairs of Air Jordan shoes.
Information regarding possible suspects was not available.
