Do vehicle break-ins at Forest Park keep you from attending events there?

(KMOV) – Authorities are investigating after cars were broken into at a Forest Park playground Tuesday night.

Police said the break-ins happened at Turtle Playground just before 10 p.m.

Authorities did not release much information, but News 4 crews found one car with its window bashed in. They also found two piles of broken glass on the ground.

It was not immediately known what – if anything – was taken.

The incident is the latest of a rash of car break-ins that have happened in Forest Park over the past few months.

Officials confirmed at least 29 vehicles were broken into near the baseball fields. Those cars were parked there because of the two-day music festival LouFest.
