(KMOV.com) – Authorities have identified the female victim found dead in a Metro East neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Officials said the body of 29-year-old Amanda Hand was discovered at the intersection of North 15th Street and Belmont Avenue in East St. Louis around 7 a.m. Her body was left in the street.
Police officials said Hand suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head. Her last known address is Alton, Illinois.
