PINE LAWN, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A police chase on Interstate 70 ended with a crash, and the discovery of nearly 100 pounds of marijuana inside a suspect vehicle.
Toby Collier, 26, was allegedly driving the suspect vehicle when police tried to pull him over around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Police say Collier fled from officers in his vehicle, then tried to strike a Pine Lawn squad car. After a police pursuit, the vehicle crashed near Interstate 70 and Shreve Avenue.
After the crash, officers searched Collier's vehicle and found a large quantity of marijuana. Police say they also found other drugs, including ecstasy, inside the vehicle.
Collier was arrested at the scene of the crash.
