Police chief: St. Louis crime down 20 percent due to winter

 (KMOV) – St. Louis Metropolitan Police Chief sees a silver lining to the long cold winter despite others hope for an anticipated spring.

"I will tell you that crime in the city of St. Louis is down 20 right now. I’d like to attribute that to redistricting but I think the weather played a significant role in that,” said Chief Sam Dotson.
